Govt extends MEP on honey, imposes minimum import price on soda ash

New Delhi: The government of India on Monday extended the Minimum Export Price (MEP) of $2,000 per tonne on natural honey for one more year ie till December 2025. Exports below this laid down MEP value are not permitted.
