The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) is expected to complete the last leg of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) by October 2025, ahead of the scheduled commissioning in December 2025, as per reports. Work is said to be progressing quickly on the last Vaitarna to JNPA stretch, following which the entire 1,506-km-long WDFC project will be completed, the reports added.
