Notification No. 95/2003 - Customs (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and
Customs hereby makes the following regulations to further amend the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations,
1998, namely:-
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) (Second Amendment)
Regulations,2003.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Courier Imports and Exports ( Clearance ) Regulations, 1998;
(i) in regulation 2, in sub-regulation (2), in clause (d), sub-clause (v) shall be omitted ;
(ii) in regulation 5, in Clause (1), in sub-Clause (a), for the words " on-board courier" , the words " on-board courier,
Authorised Courier" shall be substituted.
