Notification No. 58/2003 - Customs
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central
Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment
in the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21 / 2002-
Customs, dated the 1

March, 2002, namely:-
In the said notification,-
(i) in the Table, after S.No. 426 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:-

Rail Corporation Ltd. for use in the Delhi MRTS Project

be added, namely:-

If, at the time of importation, the importer produces to the Deputy Commissioner of Customs or Assistant
Commissioner of Customs, as the case may be, a certificate from the Chairman or the Managing Director of the
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., to the effect that -
1. the goods are procured by or on behalf of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. for use in the Delhi MRTS
Project; and
2. the goods are part of the inventory maintained by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. and shall be finally
owned by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.".
