NotificationNo. 27/2001-Cus.(N.T)
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157, read with sections 50 and 60 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the
Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following regulations to amend the Shipping Bill and Bill of Export
(Form) Regulations, namely :-
1. (1) These regulations may be called the Shipping Bill and Bill of Export (Form) Amendment Regulations, 2001.
(2) They shall come into force on the 15
th
June, 2001.
2. In the form specified in each of the Annexure I, Annexure II, Annexure III, Annexure IV, Annexure V, Annexure VI, Annexure
VII, Annexure VIII appended to the Shipping Bill and Bill of Export (Form) Regulations, 1991, -
(a) for the box and the word "Exporter" therein, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"Exporter, whether Government or Private ";
(b) for the box and the words "Import-Export Code No." therein, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"Import-Export Code No. and BIN" ;
(c) for the box and the letters and words "RBI Code No." therein, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"State of origin of goods" ;
(d) in the box relating to Marks & Nos, No. & kind of Pkgs, container Nos. and Statistical Code & Description of Goods, for
the words "Statistical Code & Description of Goods", the words "Statistical Code, Description of Goods, and EXIM Scheme
Code, where applicable" shall be substituted;
(e) for the box and the words and letters ""Value FOB" therein, the following shall be substituted, namely,-
