का.आ.4001(अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 16
द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों को प्रयोग करते हुए, (जिसमें इसके पश्चात उि अजधजनयम कहा गया है), यह राय करते हुए दक
भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो के परामिव के पश्चात लोक जहत में ऐसा करना आर्श्यक या समीचीन है, जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती
है, अर्ावत्:-
1. संजिप्त नाम, प्रारंभ और लागू होना - (1) इस आदेि का संजिप् त नाम जमर्ाइल एक्रीलेट, इर्ाइल एक्रीलेट,
एन-बूटाइल एक्रीलेट (गुणर्त्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 है।
(2) यह रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से एक सौ अस्ट्सी ददन की समाजप्त पर प्रर्ृत्त होगा।
(3) यह नीचे दी गई सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (2) में जर्जनर्दवष्ट मालों या र्स्ट्तुओं पर लागू होगा, ककं तु जनयावत के जलए
मालों या र्स्ट्तुओं पर लागू नहीं होगा।
2. मानकों की अनुरूपता और मानक जचह्न का अजनर्ायव उपयोग- नीचे दी गई सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (2) में जर्जनर्दवष्ट
माल या र्स्ट्तुएं, उि सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (3) में ददए गए संगत भारतीय मानक के अनुरूप होंगे और उन पर भारतीय मानक

ब्यूरो (अनुरूपता जनधावरण) जर्जनयम, 2018 की अनुसूची-II की स्ट्कीम-I के अनुसार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से एक अनुज्ञजप्त
के अधीन मानक जचह्न होगा।
3. प्रमाणन और प्रर्तवन प्राजधकारी- सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (2) में जर्जनर्दवष्ट मालों या र्स्ट्तुओं के संबंध में भारतीय मानक
ब्यूरो प्रमाणन और प्रर्तवन प्राजधकारी होगा।
4. उल्लंघन के जलए िाजस्ट्त -कोई भी व्यजि िो इस आदेि के उपबंधों का उल्लंघन करता है, उि आदेि के
उपबंधों के अधीन दंडनीय होगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 4th November, 2020
S.O. 4001(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards
Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government, being of the opinion that it is
necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby
makes the following order, namely:-
1. Short title, commencement and application — (1) This order may be called the Methyl Acrylate, Ethyl
Acrylate, n-Butyl Acrylate (Quality Control) Order, 2020.
(2) It shall come into force on the expiry of one hundred and eighty days from the date of its publication in the
Official Gazette.
(3) It shall apply to goods or articles specified in column (2) of the Table below, but shall not apply to such
goods or articles meant for export.
2. Conformity to standards and compulsory use of Standard Mark- Goods or articles specified in column
(2) of the Table below shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in column (3) of the said Table
and shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of Schedule-
II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
3. Certification and enforcement authority -The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and
enforcing authority in respect of the goods or articles specified in column (2) of the Table.
4. Penalty for contravention - Any person who contravenes the provisions of this order shall be punishable
under the provisions of the said Act.
