ORDER
New Delhi, the 1st July, 2020
S.O. 2181(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read
with sub-section (3) of section 25, of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) , the Central
Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Methanol (Quality Control) Order, 2019,
namely:-
In the said order, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be
substituted namely:-
“(2) This order shall come into force on the 3rd day of November, 2020.”

Note : The principal order for Methanol was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Sub-Section (ii) vide notification S.O. 2793 (E), dated the 5th August, 2019 and
