Notification No. 15/2004-Central Excise
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central
Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment
in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 64/95-Central Excise,
dated the 16th March, 1995, namely:-
In the said notification, in the Table, after serial No. 21 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries
shall be inserted, namely:-
(1)(2)(3)

goods
If,-
(i)supplied to the Programme DIVYA DRISHTI under the Ministry of Defence; and
(ii)
before clearances of the goods, a certificate from the Director, Defence Electronic Research Laboratory or Chief
Managing Director, Electronics Corporation of India Limited, to the effect that such goods are intended for the
said Programme DIVYA DRISHTI, is produced to the proper officer.".
