No. 18/ 2006-Customs 10 Phalguna, 1927 (Saka)



G.S.R. (E) .-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (6) of heading 9801 of the First
Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, having regard to the
economic development of the country, hereby notifies pipeline projects for the transportation of crude
oil, petroleum products and natural gas as projects for the purpose of assessment under the said
heading and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.42/96- Customs, dated
the 23rd July, 1996 [G.S.R. 294(E), dated the 23rd July, 1996], namely:-

In the said notification, after serial number 32 and the entries relating thereto, the following
serial number and the entries shall be added, namely:-

(1) (2)
“33. Pipeline projects for transportation of crude oil, petroleum products or natural gas.”.
