का.आ.1620 (अ).—कें द्रीय सरकार की भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) (जिसे इसके पश्चात उक्त
अजधजनयम कहा गया है) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामिव के पश्चात यह राय है
दक लोक जहत में ऐसा करना आर्श्यक या समीचीन है, जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती है, अथावत्:-
1. संजिप्त नाम, प्रारंभ और लागू होना - (1) इस आदेि का संजिप्त नाम एथीलीन जर्नाइल एसीटेट को पोजलमसव (गुणर्त्ता
जनयंत्रण ) आदेि, 2021 है।
(2) यह रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से एक सौ अस्ट्सी ददन की समाजप्त पर प्रर्ृत्त होगा।
(3) यह नीचे दी गई सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (1) में जर्जनर्ददष्ट मालों या र्स्ट्तुओं पर लागू होगा, ककतु जनयावत के जलए मालों या
र्स्ट्तुओं पर लागू नहीं होगा।
2. मानकों की अनुरूपता और मानक जचह्न का अजनर्ायव उपयोग- नीचे दी गई सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (1) में जर्जनर्ददष्ट माल या र्स्ट्तुएं,
उक्त सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (2) में ददए गए संगत भारतीय मानक के अनुरूप होंगे और उन पर भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (अनुरूपता
जनधावरण) जर्जनयम, 2018 की अनुसूची - II की स्ट्कीम - I के अनुसार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से एक अनुज्ञजप्त के अधीन मानक
जचह्न होगा।

3. प्रमाणन और प्रर्तवन प्राजधकारी – सारणी के स्ट्तंभ (1) में जर्जनर्ददष्ट मालों या र्स्ट्तुओं के संबंध में भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो प्रमाणन
और प्रर्तवन प्राजधकारी होगा।
4. उल्लंघन के जलए िाजस्ट्त – कोई भी व्यजक्त िो इस आदेि के उपबंधों का उल्लंघन करता है, उक्त आदेि के उपबंधों के अधीन
दंडनीय होगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 15th April, 2021
S.O. 1620(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16, section 17 and section 25 of the
Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central
Government, being of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest after consultation
with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following order, namely:-
1. Short title, commencement and application.— (1) This order may be called the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate
Copolymers (Quality Control) Order, 2021.
(2) It shall come into force on the expiry of one hundred and eighty days from the date of its publication in the
Official Gazette.
(3) It shall apply to goods or articles specified in column (1) of the Table below, but shall not apply to such goods
or articles meant for export.
2. Conformity to standards and compulsory use of Standard Mark.—Goods or articles specified in column
(1) of the Table below shall conform to the corresponding Indian Standard given in column (2) of the said Table
and shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of
Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.
3. Certification and enforcement authority.—The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and
enforcing authority in respect of the goods or articles specified in column (1) of the Table.
4. Penalty for contravention.—Any person who contravenes the provisions of this order shall be punishable
under the provisions of the said Act.
