Notification No. 1/2002- Foreign Travel Tax
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 40 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the
Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979, namely:-
1.(1)
These rules may be called the Foreign Travel
Tax (Amendment) Rules, 2002.
(2)
They shall come into force on the day of its
publication in the Official Gazette.
2.
In rule 4 of the Foreign Travel Tax Rules, 1979, for the words "thirty days",
the words "fifteen days" shall be substituted.
