S.O. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the
Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Additional/Joint
Commissioner of Customs, Commissionerate of Customs (Preventive), NCRB Statue Circle, C-Scheme, Jaipur to act as a
common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
(i) The Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs, Commissionerate of Customs
(Preventive),NCRB Statue Circle, C-Scheme, Jaipur and
(ii) The Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Commissionerate,
Goa,
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to Mr. Syed Ahmad Altaf issued vide , DRI
F.No. 840/JPR/19-XXV/2012/1393 dated the 05

August, 2013 by the Additional Director, Directorate of Revenue
Intelligence, Regional Unit, Jaipur.
