Notification No. 80/2003-Central Excise (N.T.)
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (3) of rule 19 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002, the Central Board of Excise
and Customs hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of
Finance (Department of Revenue) No.42/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated 26

June, 2001 namely:-
In the said notification, for the Explanation II , the following Explanation, shall be substituted, namely:-
' Explanation II .- For the purposes of this notification, "Maritime Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Central Excise
under whose jurisdiction one or more of the port, airport, land customs station or post office of exportation, is located.'.
