S.O. (E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-
section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and
Customs hereby appoints the Additional Director General (Adjudication), Directorate of Revenue
Intelligence, New Delhi to act as a Common Adjudicating Authority to exercise the powers and
discharge the duties conferred or imposed on -

(i) the Commissioner of Customs (I&G), New Custom House, Near I.G.I. Airport, New
Delhi;
(ii) the Additional Commissioner of Customs, (Airport and Administration), 15/1, Strand
Road, Custom House, IInd floor, Kolkata,

for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s Samsung
India Electronics Pvt. Ltd., 2

43, Gurgaon, issued vide Show Cause Notice number 23/85/2013-DZU/4377 to 4382, dated the 03
