G.S.R. ........…. (E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
11A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, on being
satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following
further amendments in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975,namely: -

In the said First Schedule, in Chapter 7, for tariff item 0713 20 00 and the entries
relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely: -


“ 0713 20 - Chickpeas (garbanzos):


0713 20 10 - - - Kabuli chana

kg. 60 % 20 %
0713 20 20 - - - Bengal gram (desi chana)

kg. 60 % 20 %
0713 20 90 - - - Other kg. 60 % 20 %”.
