description Room Air Conditioner (RAC) refers to a type of air conditioning system designed to cool a specific room or confined space. RAC units are diverse and can include various types such as window air conditioners, split-system units, corner air conditioners, cassette units, ceiling-mounted units or floor standing units for specific applications. The Cassette AC, installed discreetly within the ceiling, optimizes space and airflow distribution, commonly found in commercial settings with multiple vents for efficient cooling. Floor Standing Tower ACs, freestanding units occupying floor space, offer cooling solutions while saving room real estate, ideal for corners or specific areas. Ceiling ACs are integrated within the ceiling, ensuring even air distribution across larger spaces and commercial environments. Corner AC units, designed to fit into confined or limited wall spaces, cater to areas where traditional units might not easily fit. Each RAC variant addresses spatial limitations, providing efficient cooling solutions that consider airflow optimization and architectural constraints within diverse indoor environments. Note: Every manufacturer of room air conditioners including cassette, floor standing tower, ceiling and corner ACs must obtain BEE registration and adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Indian standards such as IS 1391 (Part 1 and Part 2) to ensure their safety and energy-efficient operation.
